LWA’s Six-Minute Video on Enhanced Wakes

Wake surfing boats generate wakes 3 to 5 feet high, large enough to allow surfing even on small lakes. The massive waves, downward propellor wash, ballast tanks and “bow high” boat orientation create profound safety and environmental problems. Last Wilderness Alliance’s mission is to advocate for the protection of our natural resources to support the long term viability of Wisconsin’s Northwoods.
